DragonFire Martial Arts
Our kids martial arts program is designed for students ages 6 to 14. Our Kids classes are both dynamic and fun, but our emphasis is still on establishing discipline and courtesy in each student. The program builds confidence and character by providing each student with control over his or her body, and developing an ability to stand up to peer pressure and other intimidating situations

I met Master Steve Semancik Quite a few years ago. He is a great instructor and a really great human being , along with his wife Debi and the instructors, These people are really good to be around with, really respectable . I had a great time for a short time and unfortunately I had to quit for a while 18 years actually. I remembered the great instruction in the art of Tang Soo Do and the great people teaching this fine art , I just had to go back. Boise is known for it’s friendly people and the folks at Dragon Fire are exactly that .The experience and the instruction are the best . I plan for another 20 years.
Idaho Taekwondo Training Center
The history of Taekwondo has a rich and deep history that developed a strong and spirited culture. At the Idaho Taekwondo Training Center we embody this spirit and its interest in developing well rounded individuals. The Idaho Taekwondo Training Center will introduce you to both the martial art and the sport of Taekwondo. We also train the practical application of all of the skills for self-defense. All training will be under the direction of Grandmaster Duke, 8th Dan Black Belt, who is the highest ranking Kukkiwon certified instructor in the region. The Kukkiwon is the only black belt certifying body for Taekwondo in Korea. The Idaho Taekwondo Training Center is affiliated with UC Berkeley Martial Arts department under the direction of UC Berkeley Martial Arts founding director Grandmaster, Dr. Ken Min and current UC Martial Arts director. Dr. Russell Ahn. We also work closely with Yong-In University and Korean National Sports University. Through these programs we are able to bring in guest instructors and strengthen our relationship with the world Taekwondo community.

Our daughter Sabrina joined Grand Master Larry Duke’s School two years ago with the goal of getting competition level sparring skills. For the past two years she was able to win gold at the Nationals last year, several gold and silver medals at other tournaments. The coaching, moral and psychological support she received at this school exceeded all expectations, and she is looking forward for more great performances at the all the major regional and national tournaments in 2020.

We have been very impressed by the instructors and staff at Yong-In Master Lee’s Taekwondo! The quality of instruction and the special attention given to the students is excellent. The instructors know each child’s name from day one and make all feel welcome and recognized in class. Our child has been attending the East Boise location for 18 months now. She’s always had great focus but TKD has really helped build up her confidence. In addition to the physical skills, the masters do a great job applying the lessons to life, like not giving up, trying your best, and improving yourself. My son loves coach Noah. He is amazing at keeping the kids focused but also letting them have fun. We have been to other places abs this is the best in Idaho! Okay he gym is clean and has lots of space to workout. Highly recommend!
