Karate For Kids/ Martial Arts America
I remember when I was a child, feeling uncertain about beginning martial arts. I wondered if I had what it took to succeed and I wasn’t the most athletic or confident child – quite the opposite. Little did I know that beginning my martial arts journey would be one of the most profound experiences of my life!

“I highly recommend this school for people of all ages: it is a place for all.”
“My daughter’s have done Tae Kwon Do here for almost a year.”
“I always feel welcomed and as a part of the family.”
I have been a part of this taekwondo school for more than 10 years now, and it is a place that genuinely feels like home. My brothers and I truly enjoy learning all the skills that come with martial arts. More than the physical mastery, you learn real life lessons about leadership, communication, and personal growth that can be applied anywhere to anything. The instructors here are absolutely amazing and are willing to work with you no matter who you are. It is an incredibly welcoming environment where everyone there will support you on your journey to success. I highly recommend this school for people of all ages: it is a place for all.
My son joined Martial Arts America 10 years ago at age 7. Since then, the MAA family has built him into the disciplined young man he is today. I still remember when Master Brian brought him onto the mats for the first time. His journey here has been transformative from his white belt all the way to his 3rd-degree black belt. Master T, Master Fong, and Master Brian are excellent mentors that are always there for their students and push them to do their best. Every testing, both parents and students are excited to wake up and get or watch their child receive their new belt or stripe. I am confident that my son will excel in college by utilizing the skills that he has learned from Martial Arts America.
Thank You Mr. T for your ongoing training and guidance!
The martial arts trainers/masters here do an amazing job teaching martial arts to kids of all ages. They are all good with kids and patient. Their course contents are good as well. The place is clean. There is ample parking as well. It would be even better if they can give us more flexible schedule options though.
Mach Martial Arts
I want to have a love of self; the ability to self-reflect and possess self-awareness that surpasses my current state and condition. I want to love others in the same manner, because the capacity to love others will grow exponentially more when I truly come to love myself. I want to love wisely and not sparingly; to strive to excel in all I do, in all that I put my mind to, in every aspect of being “human.” I want to present the best version of myself to others in mind, body, soul and spirit. I want to strive not for perfection, but for wholeness. I want to influence the future generations to realize their full-potential; in essence, to foster a safe environment where they can learn to accomplish their greatest feat in life: to love themselves to the fullness they deserve to be loved.

“Location and facility are very good, the staff is friendly and good at teaching.”
“My 5 year old enjoyed her first Taekwondo class.”
“The staffs are friendly, and the school atmosphere is great.”
My Son started martial arts through online, I have little doubt how they will teach through online, but they are doing really wonderful job. My son started showing interest. Master Nile makes sure he engages all the kids During class. I tried their on-site for one time last month, master over their are not touching kids to show the right position for the kicks. I think they should not hesitate as things with COVID 19 are improving.
-1 star for onsite session.
My six years old son is enrolled in the little tiger session. He really likes it and has fun in the class.
The teachers are very nice and good at inspiring the students. They not only teach students the techniques but also the spirit of martial.
The studio is also spacious and clean. They also are very flexible on the the make up classes which is convenient for parents. Highly recommended!
My son tried the one month free trial and he LOVES the class. Very professional and energetic instructor! The staffs are friendly and the school atmosphere is GREAT! I can tell that all the kids enjoy the class and they are trained to be more discipline. My son generally does not like sport, he got lot of encouragement from them and he loves to go there! Will recommend this school to other parents!

(Adult class student)
This is an awesome place. My daughter has been studying jiu jitsu under coach Chris for almost two years now. The coach and the assistant coaches are awesome. They are incredibly friendly with kids and at the same time instill some discipline as well. They provide personal attention to kids and they talk to kids, motivating them and keeping it playful at the same time.
Anyone in the Fremont area should try this school. The kids program especially is fantastic. Coach Chris really cares about every single student. All of the Charles Gracie academies make you feel like you are part of a huge family!
Aikido is an art of self-defense which emphasizes body movement, throws, takedowns, and joint locks. When using Aikido properly, violent aggression can be neutralized swiftly and cleanly so that effective self-defense is possible without inflicting injury. This modern Japanese martial art was developed by Morihei Ueshiba as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs.

I went to Fremont Aikido in my youth for a number of years, and it was honestly one of the best communities I’ve been part of.
Sunny Sensei, as well as, the other teachers are patient, kind, and caring. I always felt rooted on for and encouraged to trust myself, especially as a young girl, in this dojo. It’s sad to know it’s harder for dojos to be open during COVID, so I hope it can still stay open! Fremont Aikido will always have a soft spot in my heart. thank you Sunny Sensei and everyone there 🙂
This is one of the few Aikido Dojos out there that reaches kids with a passion. (there are many Aikido places for adults, few for kids)
Excellent teaching styles, patient, and informative. Teachers pay attention to each student, monitor them and are fully aware of their progress.
Your kids (or you alike) will learn essential self defense tactics and obtain belts along the way.
Overall an excellent dojo and a great place to learn discipline, respect, and self defense. For both adults and kids.
