“Great place and great people!”
If you’re looking for a place for some great TaeKwonDo instruction, look no further. This place has classes for all skill levels and all ages!
The owner, Richard (Sweed) Molin, is as unprofessional as they get. He is not a person I would let or want around children. The way he talks to kids with such disrespect, amazes me. Don’t let the face he portrays at his business (Awesome Martial Arts in Kernersville)fool you. He gets hot headed when dealing with children. He was caught on home surveillance yesterday (10/24/21) telling a special needs child and his brother that they were idiots for throwing rocks which all the kids were doing, including his own daughter. There is also surveillance of him scaring my children into tears as they came running home. A police report has been filed on this situation. This is also not the first incident of him being hot headed with children in his home neighborhood. He is not someone I would want training or mentoring my kids or family.
Such a welcoming environment from the moment we arrived. My 6 year old daughter is very shy and reserved. Her confidence has grown so much in the past four months. She looks forward to classes and the entire Molin family. They teach at the level of the individual student.
RSCP BJJ at Eight Points
Originating in Thailand, Muay Thai is a combat sport referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” or the “Science of Eight Limbs”, because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight points of contact as opposed to just two or four points as in other martial arts. It is characterized by the use of stand up striking along with various clinching techniques.

“We are excited to have one of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructors around!”
“Everyone was super friendly, Rick is very knowledgable and a great instructor.”
“Quality instruction in a great environment
Went out to Winston Salem for a business trip and wanted to find a place to roll. Been practicing BJJ for 6+ years now in AZ. Rick and the rest of the group were great. Everyone was super friendly, Rick is very knowledgable and a great instructor. If you are in the Winston Salem area and are looking for a great BJJ gym – you have to check Rick and RSCP BJJ at Eight Points out!
Great instruction with a knowledgeable instructor! This program challenges you to become better at BJJ while getting in great shape and having a good time doing so. Very personable experience and you definitely feel like your part of the team while training here.
I have been taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Rick Screeton of RSCP BJJ since April of 2014. Professor Screeton is an excellent teacher and instills good fundamentals and pushes his students physically and mentally. He is good with adults and kids, alike and treats both with respect and instills discipline. I respect Rick and enjoy every class, BJJ is exhausting, a great work out for your mind and body. Come and find out for yourself and roll with us.

“Owner & Coach Chris Clodfelter is super knowledgable, personable & helpful.”
“Great place to train for fighters or people looking to get in shape.”
“I would absolutely give this gym and instructor 5 stars, any day.”
Been going here for 3 years for both BJJ and Muay Thai, and it’s been the best new interest to keep me in shape. The gym is a real community and has everything from aspiring pro fighters to those like me that wants to get in shape and learn how to fight in the process. Everyone is welcome no matter what level you’re at or there casually or serious training to reach goals.
My kids also go there and love it.
Awesome gym. Something new to learn every time you come in. Chris and his coaches make everyone feel welcome. He has created an incredibly positive environment. You will leave feeling great mentally and physically. The classes are well structured and a great work out. We love Eight Points!
Intimate space, great (by great I mean coaching, motivating, experienced, committed) coaches. I went back to back days and the same awesome experience. These guys take pride in what they do. They welcomed me, got me started, fixed flaws without over-coaching, and pushed me when I needed it. All ages and genders were there, too.

“I have had the most amazing experience with this group of people.”
“The instructors here are very talented and committed to karate as a craft.”
“It really is like a second family to me.”
My daughters started in the Little Ninjas class around 3 years ago, when they were 3 and 5. Since then they have graduated to the big kid’s class and have grown in their abilities and confidence. This dojo is very low pressure and the children have a lot of fun in their classes while learning karate. We attend one class a week, but they offer 3 different time options and students are welcome to attend as many classes as fits their schedules. My husband has since started taking the adult classes and also loves it. I would recommend this dojo to anyone who is looking for a fun way for their children to learn a martial art.
The instructors here are very talented and committed to karate as a craft. As a new student with no martial arts experience, I felt welcome and challenged to discover Wado Ryu and have continued to practice for more than two years. I plan to do so for many more. A great group of teachers and students.
I have trained with this group of martial artists for many years. I have had the most amazing experience with this group of people. They are knowlegeable, experienced, and have a love for the art. The martial skills learned and life lessons fostered by this group of martial artists exemplify the best qualities of true martial artists. If you are looking for true traditional martial arts training you will not go wrong with this school.
